Bless the Lord O My Soul

Bless the Lord !

Bless the Lord !

O Lord You are my God

I will exalt You,

I will praise You name,

For You have done wonderful things;

Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

For You have made a city a ruin,

A fortified city a ruin,

A palace of foreigners to be a city no more;

It will never be rebuilt,

Therefore the strong people will glorify You;

The city of the terrible nations will fear You.

For You have been a strength to the poor,

A strength to the needy in his distress,

A refuge from the storm,

A shade from the heat;

For the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against a wall.      Isaiah 25: 1-5     NKJV

The Lord God allowed His servant, the Prophet Isaiah to see in progression, a view to the ‘End of the age’ with it’s destructions and disobedience of humanity in addition to the mighty hand of God’s wrath in response.

Even in the midst of overwhelming visions of things to come, Isaiah knows that God Almighty still makes a refuge for those who love and reverentially fear Him.

I believe this declaration of loving, worshipful praise broke free from the heart of Isaiah just as it did to his predecessor, King David within Psalm 103 (ref. verse 1).

How can we not ‘Bless the Lord’ from the bottom of hearts, from the depths of our soul?

Let us: Magnify the Lord, exalt His name. Our God sits high and looks low, blessing those who love Him with their whole heart. If you don’t know the Lord, you can stop right where you are and ask Him into your heart today.

Let’s Pray:  “Lord Jesus, I ask Your forgiveness. Only You can forgive my sin. I believe you died on the cross for me. Please come into my heart today.” Amen

If you prayed that prayer today, please contact us through the comment line.

The Great Falling Away: Are We There Yet?

31 10 2011

“Now we beseech you, brothers, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together to him, 2 That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;” 2 Thessalonns 2:1-3

The Bible says that Christ can not come back UNTIL there be a falling away first AND the antichrist be revealed!
Are we there yet? Let’s just say, we are “In the process.” Satan has pulled a fast one on us. He has filled many pulpits with demonic apostasy (false teachings) and driven away the true followers and seekers of the Lord Jesus. Once again making God’s House of Prayer into a den of theives who tickle the ears of pew sitters; while simply forming a big social club. The “true” Church of the Lord Jesus is in the hearts of His people. His people who ‘hear His voice’ and will not ‘come to another.’ Be encouaged. 2nd Thessalonians and Matthew 24 reads like World News Tonight. Take a read and we’ll talk more on this. Be Blessed
